To commemorate this time in history Vietnam, Veteran's of America, Chapter TX 1000 asked me, a member of the chapter, to design and install a memorial to be placed in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery near Ft. Hood, Killeen, Texas. Texas state cemeteries are built through a partnership between the state of Texas and the Federal Veterans Administration and are managed by the Veterans Land Board. There are four state cemeteries in Texas.
